Biophilia is a community co-created event brought forth by the talents and generosity of many organizers, artists, educators, conscious business partners, and practitioners within our local and global community who each participate in the co-creation of the festival.

Are you an educator, artist, musician, photographer, performer, healer, doctor, or someone awesome who wants to share your gifts? We are accepting submissions now for Biophilia 2019. Apply early, as spaces on the lineup are limited and may be filled before submissions are closed.

Teachers & Workshop Facilitators

What class would you dream up if there were no limits and you your aim was to ignite, excite and awaken human potential?

Upshifting, interactive workshops are the heart and soul of our festival. We carefully curate more than 80 sessions across three days to explore a diverse array of practices for greater individual and communal expansion. Educators with a spirit of generosity who can offer creative, unique and/or collaborative workshops and are planning to attend the entire festival are given priority.

Musicians, Bands & DJs

Would you like to share upshifting, conscious-lifting music with the ears, souls, and bodies of festival goers at Biophilia? We give priority to those with a spirit of generosity who are offering creative and unique sets with conscious intentions and/or are keen to collaborate with other musicians or teachers during workshops and who are planning to attend the entire festival.

Healers & Therapists

From body workers to sound healers and beyond, we welcome a range of experienced practitioners from all lineages to apply to be a part of the festival. Offer taster sessions or a workshop, with the option to offer full private healing sessions.

Performers, theme camps & artists 

We’d love to see you sparkle and help us create the festival vibe, whether you’re a performance artist, visual artist, or have a great idea for a theme camp with your friends. Grants available for supplies.

Vendors, food trucks & local business

This year we are expanding our marketplace due to popular demand and we love to support conscious food and retail vendors. You will need to be self-sufficient as there is no mains power, WiFi or cellular coverage on site.

Many hands make light work

We have set aside some special tickets for volunteers who want to gift their time or skills to help with the smooth running of the festival. We always need help in setting up and packing away and there are lots of little jobs that need doing to make the festival run smoothly. Let us know if you have a talent that could be useful or some free time and we’ll find a role for you to pitch in before, during or after the festival.
